First, this is not a Hawaiian site. Nor are we involved with Hawaiian Affairs or affiliated with any of the local Hawaiian groups.
However, we may publish articles by other writers that deal with Hawaiian issues or we may express opinions about such matters particularly when it involves discrimination or federal funding. Otherwise, we have no focus there.
We have no mission statement or purposeful objectives other than to keep our content more local rather than national. Also, our definition of Native Hawaiian is anyone living or has chosen the State of Hawaii as their home.
Along with expressing our personal opinions and comments we are interested in local submissions such as the writings that you will find in our section on Hawaiian Legends submitted by local artist/writer "Genesis".
Do you know a Keiki who likes
to write and draw? I would like to add some stories written and drawn by local kids. I perfer
